Welcome to The LUSU Student Food Pantry
What is the Food Pantry?
LUSU understands the financial constraints involved in post-secondary education and the difficulty in making ends meet. The Food Pantry was created to assist students who find themselves in a tight spot for food. Students will receive a food bag with items selected form the list below. From time to time, we receive donations of grocery store gift cards. This option will be provided to you in place of a food bag when available.
How Do I Access the Food Pantry?
To access the Food Pantry, students simply fill out the form below. Once your form is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on when you may pick-up your food bag from the LUSU office.
How often can I use the Food Pantry?
Due to limited funds and high demand, we ask that students’ access to the Food Pantry be limited to once per month.
How long does it take for orders to be processed?
Please allow up to 2 business days for orders to be processed. You will receive an email letting you know that your order is ready for pick-up.
If you are in an emergency situation and need food right way, please visit the Sharing Place Food Bank at 22 West Street South (just a block away from the downtown bus terminal)
